John Henry Hingson III is a 1971 graduate of the University of Texas Law School.
He limits his practice to criminal defense. John is a past President of the National
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. [N.A.C.D.L.] He has chaired the N.A.C.D.L.
Lawyers Assistance Strike Force Committee, which represents lawyers brought under
improper governmental attack, whether by subpoena before a grand or petit jury, comtempt
citation, or motion to disqualify. John is a past-president of the Oregon Criminal
Defense Lawyers Association. He has authored "How To Defend A Drunk Driving
Case" (Clark Boardman, 5th Ed 1990). He is the nation's foremost authority on
the use of state constitutions in the defense of citizens accused of criminal offenses.
